About Our Mission


Canadian Yoga Association is formed by a group of individuals who hold the firm belief that while yoga practices benefit individuals, it can benefit the society as a whole if more people adopt these practices.  In view of this vision, Canadian Yoga Association provides a full spectrum of yoga classes, which include physical postures for health improvement, breathing exercise and relaxation programs for stress management and emotional stability, as well as different meditation techniques for the calming of mind and mindfulness training.

1.Basic Yoga: Basic yoga releases the body and mind from tension allowing you to regain balance and energy, utilizing the fundamental posture of yoga. Basic yoga is recommended for everybody. This is a kind class which everyone can do easily and can balance health.

2. Bhakti Yoga or Yoga of Devotion
Bhakti Yoga is the path most followed in India. This is the path of the heart and devotion. Yogis who practice this branch see the “One” or the Divine in everyone and everything. Bhakti Yoga teaches a person to have devotion to the “One” or to Brahma by developing a person’s love and acceptance for all things.

3.Hot Yoga
“It is a great science” to help burn fat fast. Eliminate toxin and release stiffness & stress. The powerful breathing technique helps to improve blood circulation. Posture will be help eliminates toxins out of our system. Improve elasticity of the muscles & improve glow of the skin. It makes hips, spine and nerves strong and healthy. It helps to stimulate our glands and maintained balance in hormones. It is also helps to clear the blocks that obstruct our nadies (Energy channels/Nerves). At the end of the class you feel light, bright & energetic.

 

 

 

 

 


4.Harmonize Yoga

“Prevention is better than cure”. This class is ideal for anyone overcoming chronic stress, tension, high and low blood pressure, pain, fatigue, recent surgery, asthma indigestion, gastric problem, constipation and other chronic illness. A therapeutic approach covering gentle active postures followed by restorative resting poses,pranayama (breathing).

5.Ashtanga Yoga: (Concept : sthira-sukham asanam.)Sthira means steady, stable and motionless while Sukha means comfortable or ease-filled. Asanam means posture.So Ashtanga yoga is a progressive sequence of postures with attention to breath, body movement, gazing point and bandhas, producing internal heat to detoxify muscles and organs. Regular practice increases power,flexibility, stamina, and improves circulation, resulting in a light yet strong body, and a calm mind.

 

6.Hatha Yoga : 

Hatha yoga is made by two Sanskrit words “Ha & Tha”. “Ha” (right side of our nose) is the symbol of Sun and “Tha “(left side of our nose) is the symbol of moon. Hatha Yoga creates the balance in between Ha (IDA) right nostril Tha (Pingala) left nostril. Breath is the life & life is the breath. Learn the ancient science of breath through Hatha yoga practice. Ida & Pingala activated with balance breath by practice Hatha Yoga discipline for boosting supreme energy flow our whole body & feel great mental and physical balance longevity and positive vibration for healthy happy life.

7.Karma Yoga or Yoga of Service: 

Karma Yoga is the path of service for in this path, it is believed that your present situation is based on your past actions. So by doing selfless service now, you are choosing a future that is free from negativity and selfishness. Karma Yogis change their attitude towards the good and in the process; change their souls, which leads to a change in their destiny.

 

 

 

 

 

8.Tantra Yoga:

Tantra is made by two words tan + tra. “Tan” mean physical body which has made by five components Air, earth, either, fire and water + “Tra” means freedom and to get the freedom from the body Dr. Aman has created a unique practice yoga asana and breathing. Through this class all kind of stress mantle or physical ever finished.

 

 

 

 

 

9.Yoga Meditation: 

Yoga Meditation is the art and science of systematically observing, accepting, understanding, and training each of the levels of our being, such that we may coordinate and integrate those aspects of ourselves, and dwell in the direct experience of the center of consciousness.

 

 

 

10. Power Yoga

Power Yoga consists of a dynamic flow of asana (postures) combined with powerful breathing exercises that works the body, breathing and mind. Through this cardiovascular and yoga workout, calories are burnt. In addition, it builds strength and endurance, resulting to a slimmer, stronger, toner and flexible body. Prior experience in Hatha Yoga (Beginners) is encouraged to fully benefit from this class.

 

 

 

 

 

11.Sivananda Yoga: 

Sivananda yoga is the process by which awareness is systematically cultivate to continue apply effortless scientific ancient natural yogic practices which is harmonies working different parts of the body, internal organs, endocrine glands and nervous system for the benefit of physical & mental purification, good health, happiness & enlighten.

 

 

12.Satyana Yoga: 

Satya + Ananda = Satyananda here Satya means Truth & Ananda means pleasure. Practice traditional ancient yogic science has proved that Satyananda yoga promote health. Improve the expression of personality & behaviors, harmonies emotion & attitude and make balance personality, which we want to live. But practice conceptually including complete physical, mental, emotional and relaxation effect from the consciousness in functioning at the deeper level of awareness.

 

 

 

13.Patanjali Yoga : 

Unique selected yoga Posture and breathing technique collect from traditional ancient yoga system for improve elasticity of the muscles and flexibility of the joints, stimulant nervous system, improve cardiac endurance and release stiffness, stress and tension, it is good for promote health, physical and mental strength with energy.

14.Kundalini Yoga: 

 

The emphasis of Kundalini Yoga lies in mental focus and this helps to increase one’s awareness of both body and mind by focusing on the energy centers in the body. Overall it strengthens the nervous system, balances the glands and promotes overall well being very effectively. Suitable for all levels.

 

15. Asthanga Vinyasa: 

“Vinyasa” means flow in Sanskrit. As the name suggests, this yoga class consists of a powerful series of flowing and jumping movements. Great for the cardiovascular system, builds strength and endurance.  Other benefits include detoxification, balancing of the hormones and reducing one’s weight. For the practitioner who is looking for a more challenging workout. Prior experience in Hatha Yoga (Beginners) is encouraged to fully benefit from this class.

 

 

 

16.Gentle Yoga:  

Gentle Yoga means the combined yoga. Practice gentle yoga for gradually improves our external body movements and internal body function both are combined work smoothly and gently. All ages can be practice Gentle yoga because stretch muscles gently,

release stiffness in the joints gradually, improved physical and mental strength & increase energy level.

17.Asana Meditation:  

A way of discipline for physical posture. Our concept practice Asana (Various postures) & Pranayama (Breath Control) to develop the ability to sit comfortable in one position for an extended period of time as necessary for meditation. We experience that posture and breath technique practice for our physical body in position that cultivate awareness, relaxation, concentration and meditation to development of good physical health, mental relaxation, by starching and stimulating the neuron muscular system and open energy channels.

 

 

 


18.Yoga Balance:

 Most of us suffer from problems of asymmetry and imbalance. The irregularity and imbalance creates a lot of stress and strain on our body. At time, it also leads to injury pain or just simple discomfort. Yoga Balance helps you to create symmetry throughout the body by training you to be strong, flexible and balanced. It also finds equilibrium between the urge to push, control and be assertive with the impulse to yield, submit and be passive. Includes asana practice, concentration and meditation technique.

19.Anti-Aging Yoga
{Concept: yoga chitta vritti nirodha} means to purify the movement of mind by self attachment with consciousness.
A non-competitive yoga class designed to preserve and extend our youthful suppleness by moving our muscles, joints and ligaments through their full range of motion with speed, flexibility,power and endurance, as well as to calm ourselves amid the chaos of modern life. It is focused on proper alignment, mindful entering and exiting of poses, and staying in poses long enough to gain their functional benefits. This class encourages you to start where you are, whether that is a beginner or an advanced yogi. It is challenge without strain. It will ease pain, reduce stress, boost immunity, calm the nervous system, release chronic tension, lower resting heart rate, increase endurance, balance blood pressure, sharpen your mind, improve balance, promote more restful sleep, and lift your spirits.
